Spring Creek Eye Center originally began as the optometric practice of Dr. Morris, O.D. in the 1940’s.  Dr. Morris subsequently sold the practice to Dr. Bill Hawthorne, O.D. in 1960. Dr. Hawthorne served the East Ridge community faithfully for 40 years helping countless thousands of individuals to see well. In the late 1980’s, Dr. Hawthorne moved the original office from Ringgold Road to Spring Creek Road. The current location of Spring Creek Eye Center was constructed in 1993.  Dr. Hawthorne soon brought in an associate optometrist in 1994, Dr. Keith Sparkman, O.D.  Dr. Sparkman took over the practice after the retirement of Dr. Hawthorne and has continued to serve families in both Chattanooga and North Georgia.
